I want to introduce you to my friend and colleague Dr. Scott Redd, President and Associate Professor of Old Testament at the Washington campus of Reformed Theological Seminary. Scott previously taught Old Testament and served as Dean of Students at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando.
His PhD was under the supervision of the Department of Semitic Language and Egyptian Languages and Literatures at the Catholic University of America. While pursuing his doctoral studies, he taught and ministered at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, Md., and Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, N.C. In addition to his teaching at RTS (Washington, Orlando and Houston, so far), he has taught at Catholic University of America and the Augustine Theological Institute in Malta.
Dr. Redd’s interests include literary approaches to the Bible, linguistics and the biblical languages, ancient Near Eastern backgrounds to Scripture, and Old Testament theology. Scott and his wife Jennifer are both graduates of William and Mary. Jennifer, a trained archaeologist, also indexes books and mothers their five daughters.
