Acts 17:22-31I Believe in God the Father Almighty If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me to Acts 17, and we’ll go back to last week's passage that illustrates the scriptural teaching of our belief in God. We’re going to read this passage to emphasize two more things that Paul brings out. Someone asked me what the term creed means, where the term comes from. As we're studying through The Apostles’ Creed, that's a perfectly reasonable question to ask. The word creed comes from the Latin credo, which is the first word of The Apostles’ Creed in Latin, and means I believe.
