The Lord’s Supper: Kingdom Meal
If you have your Bibles, I’d invite you to turn with me to Matthew 26, if you’ll look at verses 26 through 29. It's appropriate that we look at this passage about the institution of the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper on this, the 482nd anniversary of the Reformation. About 482 years go, a little-known New Testament Professor from Wittenberg, mailed ninety-five propositions on a church door. This was basically a way of wanting to start a debate. He dared anyone to debate him about those disputed points of doctrine, and some enterprising critter got hold of those ninety-five points, and printed them and spread them all over town and all over that part of Germany.
