Communion in God’s Providence

Ligon Duncan III If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me to Luke, chapter one, as we continue our way through this Gospel. The text of the beautiful song that was just sung is not only appropriate for the end of the year, it's appropriate for the passage we're about to read, because just as the text that was just sung speaks of our resting and trusting confidently in God's providence, these two godly women — one young, one much, much older — are communing together in God's providence and rejoicing in what the Lord is doing in their lives.
