The Third and fourth Plagues: Knats and FliesExodus 8:16-32 If you have your Bibles, I’d invite you to turn with me to Exodus, chapter 8, as we continue to work our way through the various plagues of Egypt. We’re going to look at two tonight, both having to do with insects of some sort, the third and the fourth plagues. We’ve seen a number of themes emerge already. The sovereignty of God is very clear throughout this passage. It is clearly fitting as we seethe God of Israel verses the Gods of Egypt, and so far two plagues into this business there is no question who is winning. This is going to be a rout by the time it’s over. You know, it’s sort of like when the Super Bowl gets into the second quarter, and it’s already forty-four to nothing, and it just gets worse from there on…
