We've looked previously at this idolatry of Israel and Moses’ beautiful prayer of intercession in response, and in our previous study we raised some significant questions regarding how God responds to prayer, and whether or not we can change His mind. When we sing the hymn, “Who is on the Lord's side,” the hymn itself recalls something that Moses is going to say in this passage.
