We’re continuing in our study of 1 John today, and we're coming close to the end of the book. Now much of the book of 1 John has been about tests, three tests in particular that the Lord gives us whereby we may measure the genuineness of our profession. These three tests are doctrinal, moral, and relational or social. They’re doctrinal in the sense that one test of the genuineness of our profession is what we believe about Jesus Christ.
