If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me to Ephesians, chapter one, as we continue to work our way through this great prayer. We have said several times that this first prayer, from verse 3-14 of Ephesians 1, is a prayer of praise, or doxology. It is directed to God. It is about God. And we have also said that it is life re-orienting. Understanding this prayer not only would change the way we pray, but understanding the truth of this prayer spoken about God, to God, for His glory would change our lives.
