1 John 2: 18-21 The Test of Fellowship I'd invite you to turn with me to 1 John chapter 2 and to the 18th verse as we continue to make our way through this letter. Over the last number of weeks, we have seen John digress from a plan that he has been pursuing in the first two chapters to give, first, a word of encouragement and, then, a word of exhortation. A couple of weeks ago we saw John encourage those who are reading this book about his own assurance about their assurance.
