Last month we began a new series of studies in Genesis, concentrating on the life and times of Isaac. Abraham is still alive, but as of Genesis 24, the focus turns to Isaac and his future. In fact, the passage we see tonight is very much of a transitional passage. It sets forth one of those turning points and the focus is clearly on Isaac and on Rebekah and on their future. Genesis 24, beginning in verse 1 all the way through Genesis 25, verse 11, record for us the last days of Abraham.
