Genesis 37:18-36The Lord Meant It for Good If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me again to Genesis 37. Tonight we continue our study in this final section of the book of Genesis, Genesis 37 through 50 and the story of the life of Joseph. We said last time it was important to understand at least two things about this section of the book of Genesis. First the story of Joseph tells us how Israel wound up in Egypt, in order that Genesis 15, verses 13 and 14 could be fulfilled. When the land of Canaan would be given over to the children of Abraham after coming out of oppression in Egypt for 400 some odd years.
