If you have your Bible’s I’d invite you to turn with me to Matthew chapter 25, as we continue our study in the gospel of Matthew, particularly in these passages where the Lord Jesus is telling us about the things to come, about the end times. All along in our study of Matthew 24 and 25, we have emphasized that the Lord Jesus is telling these things not to tickle you fancy, not simply to give us some interesting information about the future, but He’s telling us these things for very practical purposes. He desires that these truths impact us now, the way we’re living now, especially that we take account of our own hearts to see if we are prepared for the day of accounting, that great day which will com at His return.
