Ligon Duncan III If you have your Bibles, I'd invite you to turn with me to Luke chapter 18 as we continue to make our way through the gospel of Luke together. And as you’re turning there, I want you to see a couple of things that will help you understand the context of this passage. First, there is a question that is asked at the outset of this passage by a man who is called a ruler. That ruler does not refer to a civil ruler. This is not a civil judge or a governor of some sorts; this is a religious ruler.
